Microsoft talked a bit about gaming and the benefits of the new native coding support means there will be more toolkits available for devs. Havok was a big partner at the event, demoing their technology with a video and the emulator running showing that ogre above. Also, new game publisher partners were announced for Windows Phone 8 like Gameloft and Big Fish, among others. Popular games confirmed coming to the platform include Asphalt 7 Heat, N.O.V.A. 3, and Fairway Solitaire.
