While wrapping up the event, Corporate VP of Windows Phone Terry Myerson briefly talked about which hardware launch partners would be on the frontlines for Windows Phone 8. Those partners include familiar faces like HTC, Samsung, and Nokia as well as Huawei with their first effort. Myerson also announced that all of these launch devices would pack in a Qualcomm Snapdragon at its heart, most likely a S4 though he did not confirm that. The WP head-honcho said he feels this Fall will bring about "the best lineup we've ever had" for Windows Phone. We'll see!
