As Mr. Myerson was wrapping up the event, he also let slip that the Windows Phone Marketplace has now officially surpassed 100,000 applications. Previously the number provided by external sources was 100,000 published, but not all of which were active in the Marketplace so it was a little shady. However, Microsoft has always measured how many apps are live in the Marketplace so we're taking this 100,000 milestone as the real deal this time. And of course, all of these apps and more will be fully supported in Windows Phone 8.
