Nokia's Kevin Shields made an appearance at today's WP Summit, and he had a lot to talk about when it came to Lumia news. He promised that a new wave of additions and updates for the Lumia-exclusive app collection would begin to rollout next week and they're going to add a lot of great new features. Chief among them was Camera Extras, which will plugin to the native camera app to provide new shooting modes for Panorama Shot and Smart Group Shot so you can replace any weird faces in the final photo. Then there's Nokia PlayTo, which will be leaving the beta tag behind as it launches in the Marketplace. The app will allow you to output multimedia content to any DLNA-compatible device on your network.

There was also talk of Nokia Music 2.0 which is pretty much a maintenance update. Nokia Maps will receive an update to add user reviews and upload photos of a location. Finally, the Nokia Drive update will add an under-the-hood tweak that analyzes your navigation behavior to offer you improved directions and routes.

Update: Conversations by Nokia have filled in more details about what we can expect from these apps, including ones we didn't mention. Nokia Counters is such an app and it allows you to keep tabs on all of your data consumption on your Lumia device. There's also Contact Share, which is an app that will let you -- you guessed it -- share contacts via email or SMS. These two along with Camera Extras will be coming out in China in late June and the rest of the world in July. Also check out a video demoing how Camera Extras works after the break
