Another day, another rumor from the resourceful folks at WPDang. This time around we've got a really juicy rumor. According to the site's sources, September 5th is going to be the day the world receives a proper unveiling of Windows Phone 8. If we're reading the (very rough) machine translation correctly, Microsoft will be talking about a lot of consumer-facing features "one by one" -- something that was sorely lacking from the WP Summit.
In addition to that, WPDang's sources also claim that Nokia will be unveiling a pair of new devices that same day. Apparently the Lumia 920 is a very likely possibility to be one of those devices, and the site also claims that the exciting Juggernaut Alpha we've seen dominating benchmarks lately is actually that prototype Nokia WP8 phone we saw at the WP Summit. As for the second device, WPDang claims it could be the Nokia Lumia 910. The site couldn't confirm if one of the devices would be including the PureView camera technology, but according to their people in the know, Microsoft and Nokia want to get ahead of the holiday smartphone market with this surprise announcement and capture as much market share as possible.
Now we're not 100% sure if WPDang is correct, but as we say in all of their related posts they haven't steered us wrong yet. Plus that September 5th date makes a lot of sense considering that's the same exact day when Helsinki, Finland will be hosting Nokia World this year. The stars are aligning...
Update: Forgot to mention that the other device could be the Lumia 910. Article has been edited accordingly.
