Remember the Samsung Omnia M? No, we didn't think so. Here's a quick refresher: 4-inch Super AMOLED screen, a 1 GHz processor, 4 GB of internal storage, a 5-megapixel rear camera, a VGA front camera, and 384 MB of system memory. In other words, it's a Tango device similar to the Nokia Lumia 610 or ZTE Orbit.

Last we heard about the device, it had taken a trip to the FCC in order to be cleared for sale. Thus, Samsung has announced plans to release the device in Europe as well as India. For UK customers, Phones4U will begin offering the device in stores tomorrow, August 1st. The device will be free with a monthly tariff of £20.50, or for an outright £289.95 without a commitment. Meanwhile in India, the device can be found at various online retailers for a starting price of Rs.15, 900, lower than the official price given by Samsung of Rs.18,650.

We're not sure we can recommend buying any Windows Phone between now and this Fall, but for budget-minded consumers this may not be a bad option with the 7.8 update on the way.
