If you've been keeping up with the kerfuffle surrounding the Apple vs. Samsung trial, then you know it's been very interesting to see several internal documents from both companies produced as evidence. Now one key piece of info from some of Samsung's documents finally shed more light on their Windows Phone 8 hardware plans for this year.

The Verge discovered that Samsung is working on a pair of dual-core devices: codenamed 'Odyssey' and 'Marco'. The Odyssey is the hero device with a 4.65-inch HD Super AMOLED screen, an 8-megapixel rear camera, a 2-megapixel front camera, and NFC capabilities. Meanwhile the Marco is aimed at the lower-end with a 4-inch Super AMOLED at WVGA resolution, a 5-megapixel rear and 2-megapixel front camera.

Both devices are using the Qualcomm MSM8960, a 1.5 GHz dual core chipset that also bundles integrated LTE support. Expect to see the Odyssey and Marco launch in Q4 2012, which could really be November.
