In times like these, managing your money is pretty darn important and you'll need to use every tool at your disposal to make sure you're not overspending on those Xbox Live games you love so much. Fortunately, there's a way to track your money flow directly from your Windows Phone, with the Toshl Finance app.

For those unfamiliar, Toshl Finance is a multiplatform service that couples a cloud syncing service with mobile apps for Windows Phone, Android, iOS and Symbian. The app helps you track how much of that paycheck you're stretching out and could end up saving you some money in the long run. One of the benefits of the service is it's online syncing component, which keeps in touch with Toshl.com. So if you edit your account using one app, it's saved to your Toshl account and syncs across all of your other handsets. You can even export your expenses info into an Excel-friendly format. Pretty neat.

Toshl is celebrating a new update for its Windows Phone app, and with it they've added an array of live tiles that make keeping an eye on your financial info glanceable from the Start page. You can now pin your budget and your cumulative total, as well as a handy shortcut tile to quickly add a new expense to your account.
