Remember all of the hilarity that came about when someone discovered Siri's newfound affection for a certain Windows Phone? It was definitely an amusing 'glitch', though Siri was just doing its job by searching online for the highest-ranked smartphone based on customer review averages -- it just happened to be a Nokia Lumia 900. During WPC 2012 this week, Microsoft's Kevin Turner who many say is one of the most enthusiastic execs at the company, had a funny bit at the expense of Siri during his presentation.
Turner was bragging about Windows Phone's admittedly impressive customer reception based on user reviews, such as the PCMag Reader's Choice Awards and Amazon's highest-rated smartphones. Then he started talking about Apple, saying it was the first time anyone had seen the iPhone beaten by another smartphone with an online presence. Predictably, Turner decided to ask Siri itself what it thought was "The Best Smartphone Ever" and they replayed the now infamous viral video in front of the 16,000 attendees of the conference.
Unfortunately we all know that Siri eventually had a change of heart, in a move that Turner jokingly called "a gag order" by Apple and finally concluded by saying it was "the funniest thing ever". We couldn't agree more! Check out the hilarious video above, captured by Insideris.
