While there was unfortunately little to no news about Windows Phone 8 at today's WPC keynote, there was plenty of talk surrounding its bigger brother. Microsoft today confirmed that Windows 8 will RTM in August and is "on track" to ship in October. So by the time you're getting those spooky costumes ready, you'll also be able to pick up a shiny new tablet or laptop running Windows 8. Apparently Microsoft demoed a lot of cool features too, so we'll be keeping an eye out for those videos to hit the web later today.
