September 5th can't come quite soon enough, can it? Well it appears Nokia's Chris Weber sympathizes. For those unfamiliar with Weber, he was formerly the President of Nokia US and was an instrumental personality behind the Lumia 900's launch. Since then, he's been shifted into Nokia's Leadership Team to answer directly to CEO Stephen Elop.

It appears Weber has taken a page from his boss's playbook, tweeting a slightly aggressive warning to close competitor Samsung:

Most rare to see an exec directly address a competitor like that, but it makes for a great publicity move. Weber's choice of words, specifically the use of 'note', could be seen as a veiled jab at Samsung's Galaxy Note line of stylus-based Android products. The Korean manufacturer is expected to announce a sequel to their Galaxy Note smartphone in a few weeks time, just before Nokia and Microsoft invade New York on September 5th.

Should Samsung have a reason to fear a next generation Lumia? Weber seems to think so, and we can't wait to see what Nokia has in store.
