When information leaked from a court document of Samsung's about a pair of new Windows Phone 8 devices, people were, predictably, psyched. Well if you're a T-Mobile fan, find a place to sit down otherwise you're about to be floored with excitement.
TmoNews has discovered another one of Samsung's user agent profiles and interestingly enough, it's a device destined for T-Mobile's airwaves (or so it seems). According to the document, this SGH-T899 sports a 720p HD display, HSPA+ 21 Mbps support, and LTE support on T-Mobile's upcoming network. We also know its a Windows Phone because its browser is listed as Internet Explorer 10.
More importantly though, this device appears to be one and the same with one of those leaked Samsung devices. The Odyssey is also a 720p- and LTE-touting Windows Phone 8 device and the rest of the specs include a 1.5 GHz dual-core Snapdragon MSM8960, a 4.65-inch HD Super AMOLED, an 8-megapixel rear camera, and a 2-megapixel front camera. It looks like T-Mobile is finally going to offer a new high-end Windows Phone again, after the mild letdown of last year's launch. If true, this will also be the first time T-Mobile will be carrying a Samsung-made Windows Phone. Meanwhile we've seen other leaks that point to AT&T receiving the 'Marco' Windows Phone 8 device, potentially as a Focus 3.
Are you looking forward to Samsung's best riding the magenta airwaves of T-Mobile's network?
