One of our favorite new apps is definitely SoMee, a phenomenal Instagram-like app that offers up some slick integration with your existing social networks like Facebook and Twitter. We got the chance to review the app (video after the break) and if you can't tell already, we enjoyed it a lot. Now there's a brand spankin' new update in the Marketplace, and you can add one more social network to that list.
Version 1.2 of SoMee now supports Tumblr, allowing you to connect your account and blog photos directly from their sharing interface. You will also receive notifications whenever your post is reblogged in Tumblr, which is a neat feature. The only downside if you're a big Tumblr fan is that you can't currently set tags for your post before publishing, so you'll have to go back and edit the post if you desperately want your own tags in there. The update also improves the Facebook login process and remembers your publishing options from the previous photo.
Not every update is without its quirks however, and the 1.2 update has indeed introduced a rough new bug. If you already had SoMee installed on your phone, after updating the app may crash upon boot every single time you try to open it. What's the solution? According to Thumbmunkeys, simply uninstall and reinstall the app to resolve the issue. They also assured us that a new update will be pushed out next week to fix the issue permanently.
We also forgot to mention in our review that SoMee has its own UserVoice forums, which lets you request new features and vote on other peoples' ideas to be added to the app. So if you really want to see some new functionality make its way to the app, drop a line on the site here.
