The game starts off with a classic 'mad doctor' premise, when Dr. Phluff attempts to create the most adorable animal species ever. Instead he created you, a monster of darkness with tentacles, claws, and a weird eyeball-only diet. The original game included 40 levels inside of Dr. Phluff's body, but has since received the 'Dog Eat Dog' expansion pack with an additional 15 areas to explore.

Originally released last July, Press Play's Tentacles was met with rave reviews for its inventive gameplay and slick graphics — all while being a Windows Phone exclusive. As of this writing, 930 user reviews have awarded Tentacles an astounding 4.5-star average rating.

Like Tetris earlier this week, this is yet another random price drop for an Xbox game that is not part of any weekly deal.
