In the innovative space of the zombie-clown subgenre, there's one Windows Phone developer who is ahead of the rest. GlowPuff, creators of North Pole Invasion and Pirate's Plunder, have unleashed a new game filled with the undead crashing an otherwise delightful day at the Zombie Carnival.
Unlike GlowPuff's prior games, Zombie Carnvial is a three-dimensional twin stick shooter that places you in the shoes of hero Buck Ricardo to shred through the waves of enemies. Its never as simple as shooting them either, as the game allows you to use multiple weapons and multikill bonuses to spice the gameplay up. When it comes to boss battles, you go inside the carnival tent to take on the big bad in a physics-based linear level.
GlowPuff also touts Zombie Carnival's graphical prowess: "amazing particle effects, soft shadows, ambient occlusion, and a day/night cycle take full advantage of the Windows Phone hardware." Take a look at the video above for yourself and decide if they know what they're talking about. Rounding out the feature list is the online leaderboards feature.
Overall Zombie Carnival looks like another shining bullet point to add to GlowPuff's résumé. You can download it from the Windows Phone Store for $0.99 or for free (with advertising).
