A few days ago we received our first look at what could be the HTC Accord, the Taiwanese manufacturer's upcoming mid-range Windows Phone 8 handset (supposedly). If you want a better idea of what every single centimeter of the 4.3-inch, dual core handset is going to look like feast your eyes.
Once again 'Football' has leaked more from his treasure trove of information for all of Twitter to see. The image above is a detailed schematic of nearly every hardware feature in the upcoming device. Obligatory inclusions are of course the touch screen, volume rocker, camera shutter button, and Windows Phone's Back, Start, and Search keys. However, it's also very interesting to see that the phone will include a notification LED in the earpiece — a feature some users have been absolutely clamoring for since HTC first started making Windows Phones. It's also reassuring that this image of the Accord actually includes the Windows Phone 8 start screen, something the earlier image did not include.
Another interesting revelation courtesy of Football's Twitter account is what appears to be the front page of the Quick Start guide. Normally that's not worth much discussion, but WMPoweruser believes the manual may have revealed the phone's real moniker: the HTC 8X. You can see the image for yourself below.
But we think that naming assumption could be wrong. If you look at the quick start guide (PDF) for another device, the HTC Wildfire, you'll notice that the page reads, "Your HTC Wildfire", compared to this leaked image which reads, "Your Windows Phone 8X". Interpreting that, it seems HTC has just put a placeholder, making reference to the fact that it is a Windows Phone 8 device, and the true naming has yet to be revealed. Only time will tell.
