The Nokia Lumia 920 is official! The phone is highlighted by a 8.7-megapixel PureView camera that's capable of taking 1080p video. Also, the display is a 4.5-inch IPS display dubbed the PureMotion HD+ which comes in at a WXGA resolution (1280x768). There's also the 1.5 GHz dual-core Snapdragon S4 processor, a sizable 2,000 mAh battery, 1 GB of RAM, 32 GB of internal storage, wireless charging support, and five color options including: Yellow, Black, Grey, Red, and White.

The PureView camera in particular is a big boasting point. Apparently the camera sensor is a wide aperture, f/2.0, allows in so much light that Nokia says photos will look great indoors and at night, even without flash. There's also an impressive new stabilization technique happening behind the scenes, which uses a series of tiny springs to absorb all of the movements of the camera and thus avoid unintended jerkiness in videos and while trying to take photos.

Meanwhile, Nokia claims that the PureMotion displays are a 'flicker-free' experience. Text will look sharp, scrolling will stay in focus, and yes the display continues the legacy of ClearBlack by resisting glare from direct sunlight. Another innovation with the display is called Super Sensitive Touch, which was developed by Synaptics and allows users to use the phone through gloves, something that other capacitive touch phones can't match.
