It might be a little behind schedule, but we don't mind waiting for free streaming music. We're happy to announce that Nokia Music is now available for U.S. Lumia owners in the Windows Phone Marketplace.

Just as we learned yesterday, Nokia Music has been launched for U.S. customers offering over 17 million tracks to be streamed or purchased. The streaming Mix Radio service in particular is very unique, arranging playlists based on genre or the top charts. Nokia Music also allows you to create your own mixes, and even save playlists for offline listening.

We noticed the download link went live in the U.S. for Nokia Music just about 10 minutes ago, and we were able to download it perfectly fine on our Nokia Lumia 900 for AT&T. However, it's not listed in the Nokia Collection yet so you'll have to download it by using the deep link below or by scanning the QR code to the right of this paragraph. Check it out (it's a free download) and let us know what you think, Lumia owners!
