The smartphone industry is really heating up now that Apple's iPhone 5 is about to go on sale tomorrow, and Nokia has gone on the offensive. Since Apple rolled out the iOS 6 update to existing iPhones, iPads, and iPods, there has been a huge backlash against the new Maps app (which replaces Google's map data with Apple's own proprietary data).
Now Nokia is adding fuel to the fire. The company took to its Nokia Conversations blog to publish an infographic comparing the maps app available in the Lumia 920, the Samsung Galaxy S III, and the Apple iPhone 5. There is a pretty close back-and-forth between Nokia Maps and Google Maps, but the clear loser is Apple.
Feel free to read the full infographic after the break.
