It's Wednesday and do you know what that means? A new Xbox Game of the Week is out for Windows Phone!

Ugh, those replacement refs are a real pain aren't they? They can't even tell the difference between an interception and a touchdown! Wait a sec...that's the wrong football. Excuse our American mindset, and let us make it up to you by chatting up this week’s newest addition to Xbox library: Real Soccer by Gameloft.

Real Soccer is a popular soccer/football franchise from the large mobile game maker, and has been well-received by users on iOS and Android alike. Featuring 245 teams in 8 leagues, in-game voice commentary, 14 soccer stadiums, and more the game has a lot going for it. However, Real Soccer was originally supposed to be a Windows Phone launch title based on Real Soccer 2010, and do you know that means? Windows Phone has received yet another outdated port that does not even support fast app switching. It's 2012, Gameloft — get your ish together.

Real Soccer is asking for your hard-earned $2.99 (or a free trial) which is half the price of current versions, but we're not sure we can say it's even worth that much. If you're a big football nut and would love to waste some time one of the more popular soccer games out there, we say go for it. For everyone else, you might want to sit on the bench for this week.

Click on the tile or link below to get the game from the Windows Phone Store; or scan the QR code to the right by using Bing Vision on your Windows Phone.
