Once you get a job in this economy, you need to make sure you don't screw up. An easy way to paint a target on yourself is getting late to shifts, or worse completely skipping out. To make sure that never happens again (at least not intentionally), we recommend you check out ShiftCalendar by Naviti.

This slick little app promises to, "manage your work shifts easily and effectively". Clearly the color-coded interface plays a part in that, allowing you to assign hues to whatever type of shift it may be. For example, set blue for morning, or green for the afternoon — that way you can glance at the month view calendar and immediately see which days you're working what shifts.

Other nice features include the ability to create custom shifts and assign colors for that. In addition, ShiftCalendar lets you setup the calendar based on your local method, i.e. the ability to set which day is considered the first of the week. Finally, the app supports four languages: English, Deutsch, Spanish, and Italian.

Overall, ShiftCalendar appears to have an ingenious setup that makes it intuitive to use. Heck, anything to make that Monday morning work shift a little less miserable is a step in the right direction in our minds. ShiftCalendar is available in the Windows Phone Store now for $0.99 or as a free trial. Click on the tile/link below, or scan the QR code to the right with Bing Vision, to download the app.
