Nokia's newest pair of Lumia devices is headed down under. The company's Australian press room has released a statement detailing launch plans for the Lumia 920 and Lumia 820 on some of the country's local operators.
First up is Telstra, who has signed up to carry the Lumia 920 in its smartphone lineup. Like the HTC Titan 4G before it, the phone will take full advantage of the carrier's 4G network. Next up are Vodafone and Optus, both of which have plans to carry the less ambitious but equally attractive Lumia 820. That phone will also support LTE networks in Australia. In addition to the carrier offers, Nokia will be offering devices through local retailers.
Unfortunately no pricing or availability was announced, but Nokia made a promise that we expect them to fulfill for all regions, not just Australia:
The pricing, availability and colour range for the Nokia Lumia 920 and Nokia Lumia 820 will be announced at the end of October 2012.
We're looking forward to it!
