HTC's Windows Phone 8X has been making the rounds lately, and we've learned quite a bit about the hardware. For example, this past weekend the first camera and video samples from the new flagship's vacation in Singapore hit the web.

The latest hot spot this trending celebrity smartphone has made an appearance is On The Verge, an live studio technology show from The Verge. Host and site editor-in-chief Joshua Topolsky whipped out all four colors of the new Windows Phone 8X, and he praised along with his co-hosts about how HTC has brought their "A-game". Then Topolsky teased that he would be in love with the device "if it ran Android".

Some of you might beoffended by that statement, but think about it this way: a man who says he prefers Android as his primary operating system is actually jealous of a Windows Phone. That's a step in the right direction if you ask us.

No matter what opinion you have on the 'Signature' status of this phone, you have to admit HTC is making all of the right moves to drum up some hype from under Nokia's shadow. You can watch the full episode of On The Verge, which includes a tech demo by Microsoft Research, right here.
