AT&T is announcing its entire Fall Showcase today and along with the Nokia Lumia 920 announcement is a revelation of new Windows tablets soon to be available from the operator. The ASUS Vivo Tab RT and the Samsung ATIV Smart PC will be ready to soar on AT&T's LTE network once they have been released this holiday season.

We have covered details on both tablets before, but we'll briefly summarize again. The Vivo Tab RT by ASUS is essentially the Windows version of their popular Transformer tablets. However, this model will ship with Windows RT and thus won't be compatible with traditional x86/x84 desktop programs. If that doesn't bother you, the reward will be a 10.1-inch Super IPS+ display, a quad-core NVIDIA Tegra 3 processor, 32 GB of storage, and the ability to add a keyboard dock with a full-size USB 2.0 port.

Meanwhile, the Samsung ATIV Smart PC appears to be aimed for the power user crowd, since it comes with Windows 8. That means this 11.6-inch tablet will rock a new 1.5 GHz dual core Intel Clover Trail processor, 64 GB of internal storage, a full-size USB 2.0 port, integrated S Pen support, and an optional keyboard dock that adds two more USB ports.

AT&T says both tablets will be available in retail stores and online "in time for the holidays".
