Following last night's "leak" of Best Buy's weekly ad, the electronics superstore has begun pre-orders of two of AT&T's top shelf Windows Phone 8 devices. That may not be a surprise, but what is shocking are the prices (but in the best kind of way).

Best Buy has set the Nokia Lumia 920 at just $149.99 on contract ($599 without), which might truly be as awesome of a deal as the Lumia 900 before it. Considering the PureMotion HD+ screen, the PureView 8.7-megapixel camera with optical image stabilization, 32 GB of internal storage, wireless charging, and Nokia's suite of apps, the flagship has a lot going for it. The phone is offered in black, white, red, cyan and of course yellow.

Meanwhile, the HTC Windows Phone 8X looks priced to sell at just $99 on contract ($599 without). However at that price the 8X only comes with 8 GB of internal storage with absolutely no MicroSD card support, so we are a bit concerned about that. Regardless, HTC is still packing in a 4.3-inch Super LCD 2 with a staggering 341 pixels-per-inch, a 1.5 GHz dual-core Snapdragon S4, 1 GB of RAM, an 8-megapixel f/2.0 rear camera, a 2.1-megapixel f/2.0 wide-angle lens front camera, and the built-in amp with Beats Audio. The only color available is the 'California Blue' version.

Recall that resellers like Best Buy can set the prices of phones differently from carriers, so there's a chance these prices will differ when AT&T announces them. But just as we said with the T-Mobile Walmart leak, odds are looking pretty good that the prices will stick. Hopefully AT&T will be ready to announce official pricing soon.
