Microsoft sure has a weird sense of humor sometimes. The official Surface YouTube channel has just uploaded a video showing the Surface being dropped (in first-person) from 30-inches onto a hardwood floor. This was apparently one of Microsoft's internal engineering tests, hence the goggle-equipped nerds.
