Get ready to "Meet Windows Phone 8" once and for all!

Microsoft has sent out press invitations for the grand ribbon cutting of Windows Phone 8, and it's ready to party October 29th on the west coast. There was a rumor several weeks ago claiming this date would be the full reveal, and it appears that was spot on. It will be a very busy week for Microsoft, especially because BUILD 2012 will kick off the day after this Windows Phone-specific event. That implies this October 29th event will be consumer-focused, while BUILD 2012 will get into the nitty gritty developer side.

Now the question remains: what will the Windows Phone team have to show us on the 29th? Speculate in the comments below, and try not to lose too much sleep fantasizing about the possibilities.
