Nokia needs all of the sales it can get, and so far the Lumia 920 has been a hot ticket item in the United States and Europe. Now Bloomberg reports that Nokia's Windows Phone 8 powered flagship will be launching on the world's largest operator in just a few weeks' time.

With the company expected to make the announcement official as soon as today, sources tell Bloomberg that Nokia has reached a deal with China Mobile to carry the Lumia 920. The device itself won't quite be the same as found in Western countries, since China Mobile operates using their unique TD-SCDMA network (hence why a deal had to be made). Interestingly, Nokia has the upper-hand on Apple with this deal, whose iPhone is incompatible with China Mobile's network and thus absent from the reach of 703 million potential customers.

The Nokia Lumia 920 should be available on China Mobile "before the end of this month".
