T-Mobile is the carrier to watch this year, as it aggressively pursues to shed its budget stereotype and become the "uncarrier". With no annual contracts, real unlimited data plans, and an impressive smartphone lineup, we'd say so far the carrier is getting more right than wrong. The next big step in its plan is to even the playing field with its LTE network, which is already popping up in a few cities before primetime. Today it was revealed that not only do a few T-Mobile devices already support the upcoming network, but one of them includes a Windows Phone we're very familiar with around these parts.

Engadget broke the story, revealing all of the devices that currently support or will soon be sold with support for T-Mobile's LTE. Currently only three handsets sold on the carrier can take advantage of the new data speeds once networks go live, but fortunately one of them is the Nokia Lumia 810.

However, the Lumia 810 will require a software update before you can watch those cat videos your brain craves at faster speeds. That's where things get murky — Engadget was able to get a confirmation that there are plans for the update, but no one felt like sharing a specific timeline. Also, it appears the T-Mobile Windows Phone 8X by HTC is not one of the devices featuring support for the carrier's LTE network.

We'll keep our eyes open should we see any update in progress. T-Mobile's LTE network is set to officially debut in Las Vegas, NV and possibly more cities in the next few weeks.
