Well, color us surprised! While Nokia said its new Lumia 520 would not be sold in the United States, it never said anything about a carrier-exclusive variant.
T-Mobile USA has just announced its plans to carry the exclusive Nokia Lumia 521, an off-shoot of the new low end device Nokia just unveiled at Mobile World Congress 2013. Unfortunately the carrier has provided zero details about the phone, and we haven't been able to dig up any specs from Nokia either. However, it appears to be identical to the Lumia 520 so we can expect the same setup: 4-inch IPS LCD screen with Super Sensitive Touch, 1.0 GHz dual-core Snapdragon processor, 5-megapixel camera, 8 GB of storage, and a MicroSD card slot.
Pricing and availability will be detailed in the coming weeks.
